- There is no minimum credit score to qualify for financing at M&G. We have options for all credit situations including those with limited credit history or poor credit. Our finance team is here to help you find the right financing option!
Do you offer financing for both new and used trailers?
- Yes! We utilize lenders that assist with financing both new and used trailers. We can even help you finance things like truck beds or roll-off dumpsters!
Can I finance a trailer using business financing?
- You certainly can! We work with businesses of all sizes in any industry to get the trailers they need, offering a wide variety of terms and options.
What information do I need to apply for financing?
- For most lenders, we need personal details, income information, and the specific trailer you are looking to finance. We encourage you to find your ideal trailer first so we can find the best financing options for you.
Is there a down payment required for financing?

How long does it take to get approved for financing?

RENT-TO-OWN FAQS

What is Rent-to-Own program?
- The Rent-to-Own program allows you to rent a trailer, providing you the opportunity to own it at the end of your rental period. This offers you a flexible and affordable way to get the trailer you need without a large upfront payment and no hard credit check!
How does the Rent-to-Own program work?
- You select a trailer, sign a rental agreement, and make monthly payments for the duration of the rental period. After fulfilling the payment term, ownership of the trailer is transferred to you.
Is a hard credit check required for Rent-to-Own?
- No, the Rent-to-Own program does not require a hard credit check. It's designed to make trailer ownership accessible, regardless of your credit history. There is a soft credit pull on your history but this is not reported to the credit bureaus.
What trailers are eligible for Rent-to-Own?
- The program applies to most all new trailers we sell, including enclosed, dump, equipment, utility, ATV, and snowmobile trailers. Specific availability and terms may vary.
How long is the rental term?
- Rental terms range from 24 to 48 months, depending on the trailer and your agreement. You can choose the option that best fits your budget.
Is there a minimum and/or a maximum dollar amount permitted to utilize the rent-to-own program?
- Yes. The minimum dollar amount is $2,500, while the maximum is $20,000.
Can I pay off my trailer early?
- Yes, you can pay off your trailer early. You may qualify for a discount on the remainder of the term, and in certain situations may incur additional fees.
What do I need to qualify for the program?
- To qualify, you’ll need to provide basic personal information, a valid ID, proof of residency & vehicle registration.
Is there a down payment required?
- Yes, an upfront payment is required to begin the Rent-to-Own agreement. This deposit amount varies depending on the trailer.
Can I rent-to-own more than one trailer at a time?
- Typically, you can only enter one Rent-to-Own agreement at a time, but special circumstances may be considered. Please contact us for more information.
What happens if I no longer need the trailer?
- If you no longer need the trailer, and provided your account is in goodstanding, you can return it with no further obligation. Any payments made up to that point will not be refunded.
Are there any mileage or usage restrictions?
- There are no mileage restrictions, but the trailer must be kept in good condition throughout the rental term. Any damages beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional charges.
What is included in the monthly payments?
- Your monthly payment covers the rental fee, and any applicable taxes or fees. Insurance and maintenance costs are your responsibility.
Is insurance required?
- Yes, insurance is required for the duration of the Rent-to-Own term.
